The Tounge Puncher makes it a lot easier to feed those tricky cables when I'm working on my own. Saves me going in and out of the roof to check where the cable went.
I’ve used the tongue puncher a couple of times now and it makes it so easy running cables down walls especially by yourself. Knowing exactly where to drill down through the top plate and noggin if such a time saver and can save multiple trips into the ceiling.
I was nearly put off by the price tag but I've used it once and it's already worth every cent. You still have to line up your first hole through the top plate, but once your in it lights up the wall cavity like a christmas tree, and did a perfect job of catching the jack chain for me
Such a unique product will never go back to climbing up and down that ladder 200 times again! 😂 so worth it 👌
I recently bought the Tongue Puncher 90mm LITE from Cartel Tool Co, and honestly, it’s one of the best tools I’ve added to my kit in years. I’ve used it on several jobs now, and it saves a heap of time when running cable through walls and tight spaces. The build quality is solid, it’s lightweight, and you can tell it’s been designed by people who actually know the trade.
The LED light is a nice touch too — makes visibility so much better when working in ceilings or dark wall cavities. It’s one of those tools you don’t realise how much you needed until you’ve got it.
Delivery was quick, packaging was spot on, and the team at Cartel clearly take pride in their products. Definitely worth every cent — highly recommend to anyone in the trade.

5 stars for the actual product itself. Super long lasting battery and amazing time saver and helps find your way through the wall cavity when you’re up in the ceiling space. Only bummer is, most existing houses are built with 70mm studs not 90mm. Most of the time I can’t use this tool as it just falls out of the wall on a 70mm stud cavity. Please please please make this variant.

Sooo useful! Save so much time using the tounge puncher when working on your own. Nothing better then going from the roof to the ground and not having to worry looking for the tounge and knowing its out ready to tape the cable on!
When you have to work solo this is extremely helpful and can save a trip back and forth from in the roof
This tool is brilliant! Simple, solid, and does exactly what it’s meant to do. The Tongue Puncher 90mm LITE makes the job quicker, cleaner, and easier. Built tough and feels quality in the hand, not cheap or flimsy. It’s made a big difference on site, can’t believe I went without it for so long. Highly recommend it to any tradie who wants to work smarter, not harder!
Punching above its weight. Love how much it throws light into the wall. Makes it easier to see the hole and find the tongue.
Absolutely rate this tool. Been using it for a few days since it arrived and it has made life 1000% better. Definitely recommend this for anyone that does any work with cabling/antenna work.

Tried it for the first time last week and didnt know what to expect. could see the light in the wall cavity easily, ( super bright!) Works like it's meant to.
